Yesterday (a) is/was my birthday! My parents usually (b) buy/bought
(c) did have done something different. At school we (d) learn/'re learning
about pollution in the oceans at the moment so they (e) take/took me to an
amazing place called The Deep.
The Deep is an enormous aquarium. There (f) are/were different sections.
You can see tropical fish and big fish. There's a penguin section with a lot
of types of penguin. Then there (g) is/was a section on insects. It's called
Insect Champions and you can learn about the biggest, strongest and
fastest insects in the world.
We (h) started/have started our visit in the history section. We learnt about
the history of the oceans and the earliest sea animals. Then we (i) saw/have
seen the tropical fish. In the penguin section, a guide told us about a project
that they (j) do/'re doing
to protect the penguins.
Then we saw the sharks.

incredible things, but this
was the most amazing!
