Hello !
The storm hit as we crossed the rickety bridge. Rain lashed down, turning the path into a slippery nightmare. Our car struggled, headlights barely piercing the gloom. Suddenly, a loud crack echoed ; the bridge was giving way. Heart pounding, I yelled at my friend to speed up. We made it across just as the bridge collapsed behind us, splintering into the raging river below. Drenched and shaken, we continued, only to find the road blocked by a fallen tree. Trapped and exhausted, we spent a sleepless night in the car, praying for rescue.
