Christmas in Romania is pretty straight forward and seen before, but there are some elements that differ.
For example, some families prefer to decorate the Christmas tree long before Christmas or just a day before. The food is also different. What Romanians usually serve is a food popular in their countries called " Sarmale ".
The gifts come in varieties , usually toys or gadgets for kids and day to day usefully objects for adults.
What is important in Christmas though is staying with families. Some families in Romania prefer to stay home and spend time with their smaller families or go to their parents if they don't live with them anymore.
Christmas is a wonderful winter time and families love to enjoy it.
