Recently, my old laptop broke so i have bought a new one with the money i saved up from Christmas. Knowing how my little brother can be clumsy sometimes, i specifically told him not to touch the laptop.
I go to school in the afternoon while my brother goes to school in the morning, so we don't really see eachother during the day.
One evening after i came home from school, i discovered some new games on my laptop that weren't mine. I thought nothing of it and moved on. But since then, i started to notice that the laptop almost never has battery when i come from school, and it seems very odd knowing that i usually watch out to put it to charge before leaving .
I suspected it was my brother who was using it when i was gone, so i asked him multiple times if the takes my laptop while i'm at school. He denied it every time, saying that he would often see one of my parents take it.I believed him and never asked him since.
After a while, one day it happened that we got sent home earlier from school than usual, because the teachers had a counsel. I get home two hours earlier than usual, only to find my laptop missing and my brother locked up in his room. Then i figured out that he took it, so i got mad and asked him to open up. He was really panicked as he was desperately trying to find an excuse from behind the door.
Finally, he opened up and there i saw my laptop on the bed. He told me that he was curios to see how it was running and tried to play a couple of games on it. He then confessed that he had been playing on it everyday and that he lied to me. And then i realized he wouldn't have mentioned it if i hadn't caught him red handed.
