Fast & Furious 8 (Furious and Fast 8 in Romanian) is an American action film directed by Felix Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan. This is the eighth film in the Fast and Furious franchise. The main cast consists of Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Don Omar, Tego Calderon, Kurt Russell, Charlize Theron and Jason Statham. The film preparations began shortly after the Furious 7 premiere (2015). In October 2015, after filming Straight Outta Compton, Felix Gary Gray was directed to direct the film instead of James Wan, who directed the previous movie in the series.
