Me,you,him,her,it,us,you,them, sunt complemente indirecte.
ex. Give him the book! Da-i cartea! ( cui? lui,ii,i)
Give me the book! Da-mi cartea! (cui? mie,imi,mi)
I see her. O vad. (pe cine? pe ea,o)
Mine,yours,his,hers,ours,yours,theirs, sunt pronume posesive.
This is my book. (adj)(+substantiv)
It is mine. (pronume)(+verb)
Myself, yourself,himself,herself,itself, ourselves,yourselves,themselves, sunt pronume reflexive.
e.g. I can do this myself. Pot sa fac asa eu insami/insumi.
Apostroful se foloseste de obicei pentru a scrie o forma scurta a unui verb si tine locul unei litere.
ex. I do not know the answer. I don`t know the answer.
Se mai poate folosi pentru exprimarea genitivului.
ex. Mary`s dress is beautiful.
Rochia lui Mary este frumoasa.
