N.M: I like them all but I prefer Madiba the most.
You: What is your mother tongue?
N.M: It is the language Xhosa of South Africa.
You: What job did you have before retiring?
N.M: I used to be a lawyer, then I went to prison for 27 years, and then I became the South African president.
You: Why did you go to prison?
N.M: I went to prison because I had been fighting apartheid.
You: How was it possible to get on with his gaolers?
N.M: I tried to understand them. I have studied their language and culture.
You: You've won many prizes. Which one is your favourite?
N.M: I enjoy the fact that there is a spider species with my name!
