2. They are regular. Regular verbs have past forms that end in "-ed." Examples: visit - visited, live - lived, watch - watched.
Irregular verbs have past forms that do not follow a set pattern. Examples: travel - traveled (US) or travelled (UK), say - said, try - tried.
Negative sentences:
Last year my family did not visit Paris.
Tom did not travel around Europe for a week.
My grandparents did not live in a small cottage.
The woman did not want to buy the CDs.
Susie did not try to explain everything to the teacher.
